²³     and I will sow him^[a] for myself in the land.
And I will have pity on Lo-ruhamah,^[b]
    and I will say to Lo-ammi,^[c] “You are my people,”
    and he shall say, “You are my God.”^(A)

⁹ Though I scattered them among the nations,
    yet in far countries they shall remember me,
    and they shall rear their children and return.^(A)

¹⁹ Out of them shall come thanksgiving
    and the sound of merrymakers.
I will make them many, and they shall not be few;
    I will make them honored, and they shall not be disdained.^(A)
