⁹ But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.^(A)

⁵ Afterward the Israelites shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king; they shall come in awe to the Lord and to his goodness in the latter days.^(A)

³⁴ “As to his raising him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way,

²³ Of this man’s posterity God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised;^(A)

³⁰ Since he was a prophet, he knew that God had sworn with an oath to him that he would put one of his descendants on his throne.^(A)

²³ They shall never again defile themselves with their idols and their detestable things or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all the apostasies into which they have fallen^[a] and will cleanse them. Then they shall be my people, and I will be their God.^(A)

²⁴ “My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful to observe my statutes.^{(B) 25} They shall live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your ancestors lived; they and their children and their children’s children shall live there forever, and my servant David shall be their prince forever.^(C)

²³ I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them; he shall feed them and be their shepherd.^{(A) 24} And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them; I the Lord have spoken.^(B)
