⁵ Afterward the children of Israel shall return and ^(A)seek the Lord their God and ^(B)David their king. They shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the ^(C)latter days.

The Lord’s Reign in Zion^(A)

¹⁴ Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people ^(A)in the latter days, ^(B)for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”

^28 (A)But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar ^(B)what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:

¹⁶ You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may ^(A)know Me, when I am ^(B)hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”

⁵ that all flesh may know that I, the Lord, have drawn My sword out of its sheath; it ^(A)shall not return anymore.” ’ ^6 (B)Sigh therefore, son of man, with ^[a]a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes. ⁷ And it shall be when they say to you, ‘Why are you sighing?’ that you shall answer, ‘Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, ^(C)all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,’ says the Lord God.”
