¹⁰ For they prophesy a ^(A)lie to you, to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out, and you will perish.

³¹ ‘For this city has been to Me a provocation of My anger and My fury from the day that they built it, even to this day; ^(A)so I will remove it from before My face

⁹ “And if the prophet is induced to speak anything, I the Lord ^(A)have induced that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel. ¹⁰ And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired, ¹¹ that the house of Israel may ^(B)no longer stray from Me, nor be profaned anymore with all their transgressions, ^(C)but that they may be My people and I may be their God,” says the Lord God.’ ”

¹⁶ Therefore thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, I will cast you from the face of the earth. This year you shall ^(A)die, because you have taught ^(B)rebellion against the Lord.’ ”

¹⁴ Therefore ^(A)do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they prophesy ^(B)a lie to you;

²⁵ “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’
