² “Thus says the Lord: ^(A)Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the Lord ^(B)all the words that I command you to speak to them; ^(C)do not hold back a word.

^2 (A)You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.

²⁷ for ^(A)I did not shrink from declaring to you ^(B)the whole counsel of God.

²⁰ teaching them ^(A)to observe all that ^(B)I have commanded you. And behold, ^(C)I am with you always, to ^(D)the end of the age.”

¹⁴ Then Jeremiah came from ^(A)Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy, ^(B)and he stood in the court of the Lord's house and said to all the people:

¹⁷ But you, ^(A)dress yourself for work;^[a] arise, and ^(B)say to them everything that I command you. ^(C)Do not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them.

²⁰ how I ^(A)did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and ^(B)teaching you in public and from house to house,

⁴² And every day, ^(A)in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and ^(B)preaching ^(C)that the Christ is Jesus.

²⁰ Jesus answered him, “I have spoken ^(A)openly ^(B)to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. ^(C)I have said nothing in secret.
