⁵ They said, ^(A)‘Repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers forever and ever.

^7 (A)then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in ^(B)the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

⁸ Also ^(A)I give to you and your descendants after you the land ^(B)in^[a] which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and ^(C)I will be their God.”

⁴ “Do not be like your fathers, ^(A)to whom the former prophets preached, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: ^(B)“Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not hear nor heed Me,” says the Lord.

^10 (D)Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

^30 (A)“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God. ^(B)“Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.

¹⁵ I have also sent to you all My ^(A)servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ^(B)‘Turn now everyone from his evil way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will ^(C)dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me.

¹¹ “Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. ^(A)Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings ^(B)good.” ’ ”

^25 (A)then shall enter the gates of this city kings and princes sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, accompanied by the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and this city shall remain forever.
