³⁰ Therefore this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim^(A) king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out^(B) and exposed^(C) to the heat by day and the frost by night.^(D)

²³ “And also concerning Jezebel the Lord says: ‘Dogs^(A) will devour Jezebel by the wall of^[a] Jezreel.’

²⁴ “Dogs^(B) will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds^(C) will feed on those who die in the country.”

⁶ So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting^(A) and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated.^(B) Read them to all the people of Judah^(C) who come in from their towns.

³ “I will send four kinds of destroyers^(A) against them,” declares the Lord, “the sword^(B) to kill and the dogs^(C) to drag away and the birds^(D) and the wild animals to devour and destroy.^(E)
