³² because of all the evil of the children of Israel and the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me to anger—^(A)they, their kings, their princes, their priests, ^(B)their prophets, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

⁷ Since the days of our fathers to this day ^(A)we have been very guilty, and for our iniquities ^(B)we, our kings, and our priests have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the ^(C)sword, to captivity, to plunder, and to ^(D)humiliation,^[a] as it is this day.

^21 (A)What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For ^(B)the end of those things is death.

^6 (A)Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. ⁷ O Lord, ^(B)righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.

⁸ “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
