^8 (A)O the Hope of Israel, his Savior in time of trouble,
Why should You be like a stranger in the land,
And like a traveler who turns aside to tarry for a night?

¹³ O Lord, ^(A)the hope of Israel,
^(B)All who forsake You shall be ashamed.

⁷ All who found them have ^(A)devoured them;
And ^(B)their adversaries said, ^(C)‘We have not offended,
Because they have sinned against the Lord, ^(D)the habitation of justice,
The Lord, ^(E)the hope of their fathers.’

³ For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
^(A)I gave Egypt for your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

^15 (A)Call upon Me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

¹⁶ The Lord also will roar from Zion,
And utter His voice from Jerusalem;
The heavens and earth will shake;
^(A)But the Lord will be a shelter for His people,
And the strength of the children of Israel.

²¹ Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
^(A)Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
^(B)And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.

¹¹ I, even I, ^(A)am the Lord,
And besides Me there is no savior.
