¹⁵ But afterward I will return and have compassion on all of them. I will bring them home to their own lands again, each nation to its own possession.

This is the end of Jeremiah’s prophecy concerning Moab.

³ then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you.

¹⁷ Yes, after seventy years the Lord will revive Tyre. But she will be no different than she was before. She will again be a prostitute to all kingdoms around the world. ¹⁸ But in the end her profits will be given to the Lord. Her wealth will not be hoarded but will provide good food and fine clothing for the Lord’s priests.

²⁰ When the Lord has given security to the rest of the Israelites, as he has to you, and when they occupy the land the Lord your God is giving them across the Jordan River, then you may all return here to the land I have given you.’

¹⁸ We will not return to our homes until all the people of Israel have received their portions of land.
