¹¹ Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”

And I said, “I see a ^[a]branch of an almond tree.”

⁸ And the Lord said to me, “Amos, what do you see?”

And I said, “A plumb line.”

Then the Lord said:

² And He said, “Amos, what do you see?”

So I said, “A basket of summer fruit.”

Then the Lord said to me:

² And he said to me, “What do you see?”

So I answered, “I see a flying scroll. Its length is twenty cubits and its width ten cubits.”

² And he said to me, “What do you see?”

So I said, “I am looking, and there is ^(A)a lampstand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, ^(B)and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps.

³ Then the Lord said to me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

And I said, “Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad.”

⁸ Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the ^(A)rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
