he who appoints^(A) the sun
    to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
    to shine by night,^(B)
who stirs up the sea^(C)
    so that its waves roar^(D)—
    the Lord Almighty is his name:^(E)

¹⁶ He who is the Portion^(A) of Jacob is not like these,
    for he is the Maker of all things,^(B)
including Israel, the people of his inheritance^(C)—
    the Lord Almighty is his name.^(D)

¹⁵ For I am the Lord your God,
