²⁸ Just as I watched^(A) over them to uproot^(B) and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster,^(C) so I will watch over them to build and to plant,”^(D) declares the Lord.

⁶ My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back^(A) to this land. I will build^(B) them up and not tear them down; I will plant^(C) them and not uproot them.

¹⁰ See, today I appoint you over nations^(A) and kingdoms to uproot^(B) and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”^(C)

²⁷ For I am watching^(A) over them for harm,^(B) not for good; the Jews in Egypt will perish^(C) by sword and famine^(D) until they are all destroyed.^(E)
