New American Standard Bible

7 At one moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to (A)uproot it, to tear it down, or to destroy it; 8 (B)if that nation against which I have spoken turns from its evil, I will (C)relent of the disaster that I planned to bring on it. 9 Or at another moment I might speak concerning a nation or concerning a kingdom to (D)build up or to plant it; 10 if it does (E)evil in My sight by not obeying My voice, then I will (F)relent of the good with which I said [a]that I would bless it.

New International Version

7 If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted,(A) torn down and destroyed, 8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent(B) and not inflict on it the disaster(C) I had planned. 9 And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built(D) up and planted, 10 and if it does evil(E) in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider(F) the good I had intended to do for it.(G)
