²⁰ let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way ^(A)will save ^[a]a soul from death and ^(B)cover a multitude of sins.

⁸ And above all things have fervent love for one another, for ^(A)“love will cover a multitude of sins.”

¹⁶ Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

¹⁴ if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and ^(A)save some of them.

Bring Back the Erring One

¹⁹ Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone ^(A)turns him back,

¹⁵ Then, ^(A)when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, ^(B)brings forth death.

^22 (A)to the weak I became ^[a]as weak, that I might win the weak. ^(B)I have become all things to all men, ^(C)that I might by all means save some.
