³ for you know that ^(A)the testing of your faith ^(B)produces steadfastness.

³ Not only that, but we ^(A)rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering ^(B)produces endurance, ⁴ and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,

³⁶ For ^(A)you have need of endurance, so that ^(B)when you have done the will of God you may ^(C)receive what is promised.

^11 (A)being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for ^(B)all endurance and patience ^(C)with joy;

²⁸ And we know that for those who love God all things work together ^(A)for good,^[a] for ^(B)those who are called according to his purpose.
