8 You, too, must be patient. Do not give up hope. The Lord is coming soon. 9 Brothers, do not complain against each other. If you do not stop complaining, you will be judged guilty. And the Judge is ready to come! 10 Brothers, follow the example of the prophets who spoke for the Lord. They suffered many hard things, but they were patient.

8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming(A) is near.(B) 9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters,(C) or you will be judged. The Judge(D) is standing at the door!(E)
10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets(F) who spoke in the name of the Lord.
