James 5:6-11
New American Standard Bible
6 You have condemned and [a](A)put to death (B)the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.
Exhortation
7 Therefore be patient, (C)brothers and sisters, (D)until the coming of the Lord. (E)The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until [b]it gets (F)the early and late rains. 8 (G)You too be patient; (H)strengthen your hearts, for (I)the coming of the Lord is (J)near. 9 (K)Do not [c]complain, (L)brothers and sisters, against one another, so that you may not be judged; behold, (M)the Judge is standing [d](N)right at the [e]door. 10 As an example, (O)brothers and sisters, of suffering and patience, take (P)the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 We count those (Q)blessed who endured. You have heard of (R)the [f]endurance of Job and have seen (S)the [g]outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that (T)the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.
