You have heard of ^(D)the ^[a]endurance of Job and have seen ^(E)the ^[b]outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that ^(F)the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

²² strengthening the souls of ^(A)the disciples, encouraging them to continue in ^(B)the faith, and saying, “^(C)It is through many tribulations that we must enter the kingdom of God.”

¹⁸ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time ^(A)are not worthy to be compared with the ^(B)glory that is to be revealed to us.
