James 3:8-10

8 But no one among mankind can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil, full of (A)deadly poison. 9 With it we bless (B)our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people, (C)who have been made in the likeness of God; 10 from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.

8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.(A)
9 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.(B) 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
