James 1:4-8
King James Version
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:4-8
New International Version
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature(A) and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God,(B) who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.(C) 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt,(D) because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded(E) and unstable(F) in all they do.
