James 4:15-17

^15 [a]Instead, you ought to say, “^(A)If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” ¹⁶ But as it is, you boast in your ^[b]arrogance; ^(B)all such boasting is evil. ¹⁷ So ^(C)for one who knows the ^[c]right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.
