James 4:13-15
New American Standard Bible 1995
13 (A)Come now, you who say, “(B)Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 [a]Yet you do not know [b]what your life will be like tomorrow. (C)You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 [c]Instead, you ought to say, “(D)If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”

Authorized (King James) Version
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
