James 1:20-21
New American Standard Bible
20 for a man’s (A)anger does not bring about the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore, (B)ridding yourselves of all filthiness and all [a]that remains of wickedness, in [b]humility receive (C)the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.

20 for the [resentful, deep-seated] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God [that standard of behavior which He requires from us]. 21 So get rid of all uncleanness and [a]all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls.
