¹⁰Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

¹⁰Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.^(A)

⁶Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

⁶Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.^(A)

²⁹When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

²⁹When people are brought low^(A) and you say, ‘Lift them up!’
then he will save the downcast.^(B)
