Ang Mensahe para kay Haring Ahaz
7 Noong si Ahaz na anak ni Jotam at apo ni Uzia ang hari ng Juda, sinalakay ang Jerusalem. Sinalakay ito ni Haring Rezin ng Aram[a] at ni Haring Peka ng Israel, na anak ni Remalia. Pero hindi nila naagaw ang Jerusalem.
2 Nang mabalitaan ng hari ng Juda[b] na nagkampihan ang Aram at Israel,[c] siya at ang mga mamamayan niya ay nanginig sa takot. Nanginig sila na parang punong niyayanig ng hangin.

7 When Ahaz(A) son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, was king of Judah, King Rezin(B) of Aram(C) and Pekah(D) son of Remaliah(E) king of Israel marched up to fight against Jerusalem, but they could not overpower it.
2 Now the house of David(F) was told, “Aram has allied itself with[a] Ephraim(G)”; so the hearts of Ahaz and his people were shaken,(H) as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind.

7 In the days of Ahaz (Jotham’s son and grandson of Judah’s King Uzziah), Aram’s King Rezin and Israel’s King Pekah (Remaliah’s son) came up to attack Jerusalem, but they couldn’t overpower it.
2 When the house of David was told that Aram had become allies with Ephraim, their hearts and the hearts of their people shook as the trees of a forest shake when there is a wind.
