Ang Biblia (1978)
Ang kawalang kabuluhan ng pagtitiwala sa Egipto.
30 Sa aba ng mga mapanghimagsik na mga anak, sabi ng Panginoon, (A)na nagsisisangguni, nguni't hindi sa akin; (B)at nangagaalay ng alay, nguni't hindi sa aking Espiritu, (C)upang makapagdagdag ng kasalanan sa kasalanan;
2 Ang nagsisilakad (D)na nagsisilusong sa Egipto, at (E)hindi nangagtanong sa aking bibig; upang mangagpakalakas sa lakas ni Faraon, at magsitiwala sa lilim ng Egipto!
3 Kaya't ang lakas ni Faraon (F)ay magiging inyong kahihiyan, at ang pagtiwala sa lilim ng Egipto ay inyong pagkalito.
4 Sapagka't ang kaniyang mga pangulo ay nangasa Zoan, at ang kanilang mga sugo ay nagsidating sa Hanes.
5 (G)Silang lahat ay mangapapahiya dahil sa bayan na hindi nila mapapakinabangan, na hindi tulong o pakinabang man, kundi kahihiyan, at kakutyaan din naman.
6 (H)Ang hula tungkol sa (I)mga hayop ng Timugan.
Sa lupain ng kabagabagan at ng kahapisan, na pinanggagalingan ng leong babae at lalake, (J)ng ulupong at ng lumilipad na makamandag na ahas, kanilang dinadala ang kanilang mga kayamanan sa mga gulugod ng mga batang asno, at ang kanilang mga kayamanan sa umbok ng gulugod ng mga kamelyo, sa isang bayan na hindi nila mapapakinabangan.
7 Sapagka't ang Egipto ay tumulong na walang kabuluhan, at walang kapararakan: kaya't aking tinawag siyang Rahab na nauupong walang kibo.
8 Ngayo'y yumaon ka, (K)isulat mo sa harap nila sa isang tapyas na bato, at ititik mo sa isang aklat upang manatili sa panahong darating na walang hanggan.
9 Sapagka't (L)mapanghimagsik na bayan, mga sinungaling na anak, mga anak na hindi didinig ng kautusan ng Panginoon:
10 Na nagsasabi sa mga (M)tagakita, (N)Huwag kayong kumita; at sa mga propeta, Huwag kayong manghula sa amin ng mga matuwid na bagay, (O)magsalita kayo sa amin ng mga malubay na bagay, manghula kayo ng mga magdarayang bagay:
11 Humiwalay kayo sa daan, lumihis kayo sa landas, papaglikatin ninyo ang Banal ng Israel sa harap namin.
12 Kaya't ganito ang sabi ng Banal ng Israel, Sapagka't inyong hinamak ang salitang ito, at nagsitiwala kayo sa kapighatian at kasuwailan, at yaon ay inyong inaasahan:
13 Kaya't ang kasamaang ito ay magiging sa inyo'y (P)gaya ng batong sira na madaling mababagsak, na natatanggal sa isang matayog na pader, na biglang dumarating ang pagkasira sa isang sangdali.
14 At yao'y (Q)kaniyang babasagin na gaya ng pagbasag ng palyok ng magpapalyok, na nababasag na putolputol na walang matitira; na anopat walang masusumpungan na kapiraso sa mga putol niyaon, na maikukuha ng apoy mula sa apuyan, o maikakadlo ng tubig sa balon.
15 Sapagka't ganito ang sabi ng Panginoong Dios, ng Banal ng Israel, (R)Sa pagbabalik at sa pagpapahinga ay matitiwasay kayo; (S)sa katahimikan at sa pagasa ay magiging ang inyong lakas. (T)At hindi ninyo inibig.
16 Kundi inyong sinabi, Hindi, (U)sapagka't kami ay magsisitakas na mangangabayo: kaya kayo'y magsisitakas: at, Kami ay magsisisakay sa mga maliksi; kaya't silang magsisihabol sa inyo ay maliliksi.
17 Isang libo (V)ay tatakas sa saway ng isa; sa saway ng lima ay tatakas kayo: hanggang sa kayo'y maiwang parang isang palatandaan sa taluktok ng bundok, at (W)gaya ng isang watawat sa isang burol.
Sa matiyagang paghihintay sa biyaya ng Panginoon lamang matatamo ang kasaganaan.
18 (X)At dahil dito maghihintay ang Panginoon, upang siya'y maging mapagbiyaya sa inyo, at kaya't (Y)mabubunyi siya, na siya'y magdadalang habag sa inyo: sapagka't ang Panginoon ay Dios ng kahatulan; (Z)mapapalad yaong lahat na nangaghihintay sa kaniya.
19 Sapagka't ang bayan ay (AA)tatahan sa Sion sa Jerusalem: ikaw ay hindi na iiyak pa; siya'y tunay na magiging mapagbiyaya sa iyo sa tinig ng iyong daing; pagka kaniyang maririnig, sasagutin ka niya.
20 At bagaman bigyan kayo ng Panginoon ng (AB)tinapay ng kasakunaan at ng tubig ng kadalamhatian, gayon may hindi na makukubli pa ang (AC)iyong mga tagapagturo, kundi makikita ng iyong mga mata ang iyong mga tagapagturo:
21 At ang iyong mga pakinig ay makakarinig ng salita sa likuran mo, na nagsasabi, Ito ang daan, lakaran ninyo; pagka kayo'y pumipihit sa kanan, at pagka kayo'y pumipihit sa kaliwa.
22 At inyong lalapastanganin ang mga panakip ng inyong mga larawang pilak na inanyuan at ang pangbalot sa inyong mga larawang ginto na binubo: (AD)iyong ipaghahagis na gaya ng maruming bagay: iyong sasabihin, Humayo ka.
23 At Siya ay magbibigay ng ulan sa iyong binhi, na iyong hahasikan ang lupa; at ng pagkaing bunga ng lupa, at magiging mataba at sagana. Sa araw na yaon ay manginginain ang iyong mga hayop sa mga malaking pastulan.
24 Ang mga baka at gayon din ang mga guyang asno na bumubukid ng lupa ay magsisikain ng may lasang pagkain, na pinahanginan ng pala at hunkoy.
25 At magkakaroon ng mga ilog at mga balon ng tubig (AE)sa lahat na mataas na bundok, at sa lahat na matayog na burol, sa araw ng malaking patayan, pagka ang mga moog ay nabubuwal.
26 Bukod dito'y (AF)ang liwanag ng buwan ay magiging gaya ng liwanag ng araw, at ang liwanag ng araw ay magpipito, na gaya ng liwanag ng pitong araw, sa araw na talian ng Panginoon ang sugat ng kaniyang bayan, at pagalingin ang bugbog na kanilang sugat.
27 Narito, ang pangalan ng Panginoon ay magmumula sa malayo, na nagniningas ng kaniyang galit, at nasa umiilanglang na salimuot na usok: ang kaniyang mga labi ay puno ng pagkagalit, at ang kaniyang dila ay gaya ng mamumugnaw na apoy:
28 At ang (AG)kaniyang hinga ay gaya ng (AH)umaapaw na ilog, na umaabot hanggang sa leeg, upang igigin ang mga bansa ng pangigig na pangsira; at isang paningkaw na nakapagpapaligaw (AI)ay malalagay sa mga panga ng mga bayan.
29 Kayo'y mangagkakaroon ng awit na gaya ng sa gabi pagka ang banal na kapistahan ay ipinagdidiwang; at kasayahan ng puso, na gaya ng yumayaon na (AJ)may plauta upang masok (AK)sa bundok ng Panginoon, (AL)sa malaking Bato ng Israel.
30 At iparirinig ng Panginoon ang kaniyang maluwalhating tinig, at ipakikilala ang pagbabaka ng kaniyang bisig, na may pagkagalit ng kaniyang galit, at ng liyab ng mamumugnaw na apoy, na may bugso ng ulan, at bagyo, at granizo,
31 Sapagka't sa pamamagitan ng tinig ng Panginoon ay mangagkakawatakwatak ang (AM)taga Asiria, na nananakit ng pamalo.
32 At bawa't hampas ng takdang tungkod, na ibabagsak ng Panginoon sa kaniya, mangyayaring may mga pandereta at may mga alpa; at sa mga pakikipagbakang may (AN)pagkayanig ay makikipaglaban siya sa kanila,
33 Sapagka't ang (AO)Topheth ay handa nang malaon; oo, sa ganang hari ay inihanda; kaniyang pinalalim at pinalaki: ang bunton niyaon ay apoy at maraming kahoy: ang hinga ng Panginoon na gaya ng bugso ng azufre, ay nagpapaningas ng apoy.

30 „Vai – zice Domnul – de copiii răzvrătiţi, care(A) iau hotărâri fără Mine, fac legăminte care nu vin din Duhul Meu şi(B) îngrămădesc astfel păcat peste păcat! 2 Ei(C) se pogoară în Egipt, fără(D) să Mă întrebe, ca să fugă sub ocrotirea lui Faraon şi să caute un adăpost sub umbra egiptenilor! 3 Dar(E) ocrotirea lui Faraon vă va da de ruşine şi adăpostul sub umbra Egiptului vă va da de ocară. 4 Căci voievozii lui au şi ajuns la Ţoan(F) şi trimişii lui au şi atins Hanesul. 5 Dar toţi(G) vor rămâne de ruşine din pricina unui popor care nu le va fi de folos, nici nu-i va ajuta, nici nu le va folosi, ci va fi spre ruşinea şi ocara lor.” 6 Prorocie asupra unor dobitoace(H) de la miazăzi: printr-un ţinut strâmtorat şi necăjit, de unde vin leoaica şi leul, năpârca(I) şi şarpele zburător, îşi duc ei bogăţiile în spinarea măgarilor şi vistieriile pe cocoaşa cămilelor, către un popor care nu le va fi de folos. 7 Căci(J) ajutorul Egiptului nu este decât deşertăciune şi nimic, de aceea eu numesc lucrul acesta: „zarvă(K) fără nicio ispravă.” 8 „Du-te acum – zice Domnul – de scrie(L) aceste lucruri înaintea lor pe o tăbliţă şi sapă-le într-o carte, ca să rămână până în ziua de apoi, ca mărturie pe vecie şi în veci de veci. 9 Scrie că poporul acesta(M) este un popor răzvrătit, nişte copii mincinoşi, nişte copii care nu vor să asculte Legea Domnului, 10 care(N) zic văzătorilor: ‘Să nu vedeţi!’ şi prorocilor: ‘Să nu prorociţi adevăruri, ci spuneţi-ne(O) lucruri măgulitoare, prorociţi-ne lucruri închipuite! 11 Abateţi-vă din drum, daţi-vă în lături de pe cărare, lăsaţi-ne în pace cu Sfântul lui Israel!’ ” 12 De aceea aşa vorbeşte Sfântul lui Israel: „Fiindcă lepădaţi cuvântul acesta şi vă încredeţi în silnicie şi vicleşuguri şi vă sprijiniţi pe ele, 13 de aceea nelegiuirea aceasta va fi pentru voi ca(P) spărtura unui zid înalt, care, spărgându-se, ameninţă să cadă şi a cărui prăbuşire vine(Q) deodată, într-o clipă: 14 îl sfărâmă cum se sfărâmă un vas de pământ, care se(R) sfărâmă fără nicio milă şi din ale cărui sfărâmături nu mai rămâne niciun ciob măcar, cu care să iei foc din vatră sau să scoţi apă din fântână.” 15 Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu, Sfântul lui Israel: „În linişte(S) şi odihnă va fi mântuirea voastră, în seninătate şi încredere va fi tăria voastră.” Dar(T) n-aţi voit! 16 Ci aţi zis: „Nu! Ci vom fugi pe cai!” – „De aceea veţi şi fugi!” – „Vom călări pe cai iuţi!” – „De aceea cei ce vă vor urmări vor fi şi mai iuţi! 17 O(U) mie vor fugi la ameninţarea unuia singur şi, când vă vor ameninţa cinci, toţi veţi fugi, până veţi rămâne ca un stâlp pe vârful unui munte şi ca un steag pe creştetul unui deal. 18 Totuşi, Domnul aşteaptă să Se milostivească de voi şi Se va scula să vă dea îndurare, căci Domnul este un Dumnezeu drept. Ferice(V) de toţi cei ce nădăjduiesc în El! 19 Da, popor al Sionului, locuitor al(W) Ierusalimului, nu vei mai plânge! El Se va îndura de tine când vei striga; cum va auzi, te va asculta. 20 Domnul vă va da pâine(X) în necaz şi apă în strâmtorare. Învăţătorii(Y) tăi nu se vor mai ascunde, ci ochii tăi vor vedea pe învăţătorii tăi. 21 Urechile tale vor auzi după tine glasul care va zice: ‘Iată drumul, mergeţi pe el!’ când veţi voi să vă mai abateţi la dreapta sau la stânga. 22 Veţi(Z) socoti ca spurcate argintul care vă acoperă idolii şi aurul cu care sunt poleite chipurile turnate. Ca pe o necurăţie le vei arunca şi le vei zice(AA): ‘Afară cu voi de aici!’ 23 Atunci(AB) El va da ploaie peste sămânţa pe care o vei pune în pământ şi pâinea pe care o va da pământul va fi gustoasă şi hrănitoare; în acelaşi timp, turmele tale vor paşte în păşuni întinse. 24 Boii şi măgarii, care ară pământul, vor mânca un nutreţ sărat, vânturat cu lopata şi cu ciurul. 25 Pe(AC) orice munte înalt şi pe orice deal înalt, vor izvorî râuri, curgeri de apă, în ziua marelui măcel, când turnurile vor cădea. 26 Şi lumina(AD) lunii va fi ca lumina soarelui, iar lumina soarelui va fi de şapte ori mai mare (ca lumina a şapte zile), când va lega Domnul vânătăile poporului Său şi va tămădui rana loviturilor lui.” 27 „Iată, Numele Domnului vine din depărtare! Mânia Lui este aprinsă şi un pârjol puternic; buzele Lui sunt pline de urgie şi limba Lui este ca un foc mistuitor; 28 suflarea(AE) Lui este ca un şuvoi ieşit din albie, care ajunge(AF) până la gât, ca să ciuruiască neamurile cu ciurul nimicirii şi să pună o zăbală(AG) înşelătoare în fălcile popoarelor. 29 Voi însă veţi cânta ca în noaptea când se prăznuieşte(AH) sărbătoarea, veţi fi cu inima veselă, ca cel ce merge în sunetul flautului, ca să se ducă la muntele(AI) Domnului, spre Stânca lui Israel. 30 Şi(AJ) Domnul va face să răsune glasul Lui măreţ, Îşi va arăta braţul gata să lovească, în mânia Lui aprinsă, în mijlocul flăcării unui foc mistuitor, în mijlocul înecului, al furtunii şi al pietrelor(AK) de grindină. 31 Atunci, asirianul va tremura de(AL) glasul Domnului, care(AM) îl va lovi cu nuiaua Sa. 32 La fiecare lovitură de nuia hotărâtă pe care i-o va da Domnul, se vor auzi timpanele şi harpele Domnul va lupta împotriva lui cu mâna(AN) ridicată. 33 Căci de multă vreme este pregătit un rug(AO), gătit şi pentru împărat: adânc şi lat este făcut, cu foc şi lemne din belşug. Suflarea Domnului îl aprinde ca un şuvoi de pucioasă.”

30 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
4 For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.
5 They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
6 The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.
7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.
8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
11 Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
12 Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:
13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.
14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.
15 For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
16 But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
17 One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
18 And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
22 Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.
23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
24 The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
29 Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel.
30 And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.
32 And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.
33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.
