³ “^(A)Listen to Me, house of Jacob,
And all ^(B)the remnant of the house of Israel,
You who have been ^(C)carried by Me from ^[a]birth
And have been carried from the womb;

⁵ And now says ^(A)the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant,
To bring Jacob back to Him, so that ^(B)Israel might be gathered to Him
(For I am ^(C)honored in the sight of the Lord,
And My God is My ^(D)strength),

⁹ Shall I bring to the point of birth but ^(A)not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God.
