Isaiah 9:7
New International Version
Isaiah 45:14-25
New International Version
14 This is what the Lord says:
“The products(A) of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush,[a]
and those tall Sabeans(B)—
they will come over to you(C)
and will be yours;
they will trudge behind you,(D)
coming over to you in chains.(E)
They will bow down before you
and plead(F) with you, saying,
‘Surely God is with you,(G) and there is no other;
there is no other god.(H)’”
15 Truly you are a God who has been hiding(I) himself,
the God and Savior(J) of Israel.
16 All the makers of idols will be put to shame and disgraced;(K)
they will go off into disgrace together.
17 But Israel will be saved(L) by the Lord
with an everlasting salvation;(M)
you will never be put to shame or disgraced,(N)
to ages everlasting.
18 For this is what the Lord says—
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,(O)
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,(P)
but formed it to be inhabited(Q)—
he says:
“I am the Lord,
and there is no other.(R)
19 I have not spoken in secret,(S)
from somewhere in a land of darkness;(T)
I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,(U)
‘Seek(V) me in vain.’
I, the Lord, speak the truth;
I declare what is right.(W)
20 “Gather together(X) and come;
assemble, you fugitives from the nations.
Ignorant(Y) are those who carry(Z) about idols of wood,
who pray to gods that cannot save.(AA)
21 Declare what is to be, present it—
let them take counsel together.
Who foretold(AB) this long ago,
who declared it from the distant past?(AC)
Was it not I, the Lord?
And there is no God apart from me,(AD)
a righteous God(AE) and a Savior;(AF)
there is none but me.
22 “Turn(AG) to me and be saved,(AH)
all you ends of the earth;(AI)
for I am God, and there is no other.(AJ)
23 By myself I have sworn,(AK)
my mouth has uttered in all integrity(AL)
a word that will not be revoked:(AM)
Before me every knee will bow;(AN)
by me every tongue will swear.(AO)
24 They will say of me, ‘In the Lord alone
are deliverance(AP) and strength.(AQ)’”
All who have raged against him
will come to him and be put to shame.(AR)
25 But all the descendants(AS) of Israel
will find deliverance(AT) in the Lord
and will make their boast in him.(AU)

New International Version
22 This is what the Sovereign Lord(A) says:
“See, I will beckon to the nations,
I will lift up my banner(B) to the peoples;
they will bring(C) your sons in their arms
and carry your daughters on their hips.(D)
23 Kings(E) will be your foster fathers,
and their queens your nursing mothers.(F)
They will bow down(G) before you with their faces to the ground;
they will lick the dust(H) at your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord;(I)
those who hope(J) in me will not be disappointed.(K)”
25 But this is what the Lord says:
“Yes, captives(M) will be taken from warriors,(N)
and plunder retrieved from the fierce;(O)
I will contend with those who contend with you,(P)
and your children I will save.(Q)
26 I will make your oppressors(R) eat(S) their own flesh;
they will be drunk on their own blood,(T) as with wine.
Then all mankind will know(U)
that I, the Lord, am your Savior,(V)
your Redeemer,(W) the Mighty One of Jacob.(X)”

19 “I will set a sign(A) among them, and I will send some of those who survive(B) to the nations—to Tarshish,(C) to the Libyans[a] and Lydians(D) (famous as archers), to Tubal(E) and Greece,(F) and to the distant islands(G) that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory.(H) They will proclaim my glory among the nations. 20 And they will bring(I) all your people, from all the nations, to my holy mountain(J) in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord—on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels,”(K) says the Lord. “They will bring them, as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels.(L) 21 And I will select some of them also to be priests(M) and Levites,” says the Lord.
22 “As the new heavens and the new earth(N) that I make will endure before me,” declares the Lord, “so will your name and descendants endure.(O) 23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath(P) to another, all mankind will come and bow down(Q) before me,” says the Lord. 24 “And they will go out and look on the dead bodies(R) of those who rebelled(S) against me; the worms(T) that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched,(U) and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
