⁷ therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them ^(A)the waters of ^(B)the River,^[a] mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it ^(C)will rise over all its channels and go over all its banks,

²⁰ So ^(A)Tiglath-pileser^[a] king of Assyria came against him and afflicted him instead of strengthening him.
