Isaiah 8:10-12
English Standard Version
10 Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing;
speak a word, (A)but it will not stand,
for God (B)is with us.[a]
Fear God, Wait for the Lord
11 For the Lord spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and (C)warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: 12 “Do not call (D)conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and (E)do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread.

11 For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
12 Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

10 (A)Devise a plan, but it will fail;
State a [a]proposal, but (B)it will not stand,
For [b](C)God is with us.”
11 For so the Lord spoke to me [c]with (D)mighty power and instructed me (E)not to walk in the way of this people, saying,
12 “You are not to say, ‘It is a (F)conspiracy!’
Regarding everything that this people call a conspiracy,
And (G)you are not to fear [d]what they fear or be in dread of it.
