Isaiah Sent to King Ahaz
7 Now it happened in the days of (A)Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that (B)Rezin the king of Aram and (C)Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but (D)could not [a]conquer it. 2 When it was told to the (E)house of David, saying, “[b]The Arameans (F)have camped in (G)Ephraim,” his heart and the hearts of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind.

7 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. 2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria [a]is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.
