3 Then Yahweh said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and your son [a]Shear-jashub, at the end of the (A)conduit of the upper pool, to the highway of the [b]fuller’s field, 4 and say to him, ‘Take care and stay (B)quiet, have no (C)fear and (D)do not be fainthearted because of these two stubs of smoldering (E)firebrands, on account of the burning anger of Rezin and Aram and the (F)son of Remaliah. 5 Because (G)Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has counseled evil against you, saying,

3 Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;
4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
