Isaiah 66:15-17

15 Look, the Lord will come with fire(A)—
His chariots are like the whirlwind(B)—
to execute His anger with fury
and His rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For the Lord will execute judgment
on all flesh(C) with His fiery sword,
and many will be slain by the Lord.
17 “Those who dedicate and purify themselves to enter the groves(D) following their leader,[a] eating meat from pigs, vermin, and rats, will perish together.”
This is the Lord’s declaration.

15 “Take notice! The Lord will come with fire,

to pay back his anger—yes, his anger!—[c] in fury,
and his menacing rebukes[d] in flames of fire.
16 For with fire and with his sword the Lord will proceed to judgment[e] on all humanity,[f]
and those slain by the Lord will be many.”
17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to enter the groves,[g] following the one at the center of those who eat the meat of pigs, disgusting things,[h] and rats, are all alike,”[i] says[j] the Lord.
