Isaiah 65:8-10

New International Version

⁸This is what the Lord says:

“As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes^(A)
    and people say, ‘Don’t destroy it,
    there is still a blessing in it,’
so will I do in behalf of my servants;^(B)
    I will not destroy them all.
⁹I will bring forth descendants^(C) from Jacob,
    and from Judah those who will possess^(D) my mountains;
my chosen^(E) people will inherit them,
    and there will my servants live.^(F)
¹⁰Sharon^(G) will become a pasture for flocks,^(H)
    and the Valley of Achor^(I) a resting place for herds,
    for my people who seek^(J) me.

A Remnant will be Preserved

⁸This is what the Lord says:
    “Just as new wine is found in the cluster,
and people have said,^[a] ‘Don’t destroy it,
    for there is a gift in it,’
so I’ll act for my servants’ sake,
    by not destroying them all.
⁹I’ll bring forth descendants from Jacob,
    and from Judah they^[b] will inherit^[c] my mountains;
my chosen people will inherit it,
    and my servants will live there.
¹⁰Sharon will become a pasture for flocks,
    and the Valley of Achor a fold for herds,^[d]
        for my people who have sought me.
