Isaiah 63:11-14
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
11 Then they[a] remembered the days of old,
of Moses his servant.[b]
Where is the one who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is the one who put within them
his holy spirit,(A)
12 who caused his glorious arm
to march at the right hand of Moses,
who divided the waters before them
to make for himself an everlasting name,(B)
13 who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.(C)
14 Like cattle that go down into the valley,
the spirit of the Lord gave them rest.
Thus you led your people,
to make for yourself a glorious name.(D)
Isaiah 63:11-14
Lexham English Bible
11 Then[a] his people remembered the days of old, of Moses.
Where is the one who led up them from the sea with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is the one who puts his Holy Spirit[b] inside him,
12 who made[c] his magnificent arm move at[d] the right hand of Moses,
who divided[e] the waters before them,[f]
to make an everlasting name for himself,
13 who led[g] them through the depths?
They did not stumble like a horse in the desert;
14 like cattle in the valley that goes down, the Spirit of Yahweh gave him rest,[h]
so you lead your people to make a magnificent name for yourself.
