²⁴ They will fall by the edge of the sword^(A) and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles^[a](B) until the times of the Gentiles^(C) are fulfilled.

²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane^[a] the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace?^(A)
