Assurance of Zion’s Salvation
62 For Zion’s sake I will not [a]hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.
2 (A)The Gentiles shall see your righteousness,
And all (B)kings your glory.
(C)You shall be called by a new name,
Which the mouth of the Lord will name.
3 You shall also be (D)a crown of glory
In the hand of the Lord,
And a royal diadem
In the hand of your God.
4 (E)You shall no longer be termed (F)Forsaken,[b]
Nor shall your land any more be termed (G)Desolate;[c]
But you shall be called [d]Hephzibah, and your land [e]Beulah;
For the Lord delights in you,
And your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So shall your sons marry you;
And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
(H)So shall your God rejoice over you.
6 (I)I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall [f]never hold their peace day or night.
You who [g]make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
7 And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem (J)a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord has sworn by His right hand
And by the arm of His strength:
“Surely I will no longer (K)give your grain
As food for your enemies;
And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine,
For which you have labored.
9 But those who have gathered it shall eat it,
And praise the Lord;
Those who have brought it together shall drink it (L)in My holy courts.”
10 Go through,
Go through the gates!
(M)Prepare the way for the people;
Build up,
Build up the highway!
Take out the stones,
(N)Lift up a banner for the peoples!
11 Indeed the Lord has proclaimed
To the end of the world:
(O)“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Surely your salvation is coming;
Behold, His (P)reward is with Him,
And His [h]work before Him.’ ”
12 And they shall call them The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
And you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.

Zion's Coming Salvation
62 (A)For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet,
(B)until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
and her salvation as a burning torch.
2 (C)The nations shall see your righteousness,
and all the kings your glory,
(D)and you shall be called by a new name
that the mouth of the Lord will give.
3 You shall be (E)a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 (F)You shall no more be termed (G)Forsaken,[a]
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,[b]
(H)but you shall be called (I)My Delight Is in Her,[c]
and your land Married;[d]
for the Lord delights in you,
and your land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marries a young woman,
so (J)shall your sons marry you,
and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
so (K)shall your God rejoice over you.
6 On your walls, O Jerusalem,
I have set (L)watchmen;
all the day and all the night
they shall never be silent.
You who put the Lord in remembrance,
take no rest,
7 and give him no rest
until he establishes Jerusalem
and makes it (M)a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord has sworn (N)by his right hand
and by his mighty arm:
“I will not again give (O)your grain
to be food for your enemies,
(P)and foreigners shall not drink your wine
for which you have labored;
9 but (Q)those who garner it shall eat it
and praise the Lord,
and (R)those who gather it shall drink it
in the courts of my sanctuary.”[e]
10 Go through, go through the gates;
(S)prepare the way for the people;
(T)build up, build up the highway;
clear it of stones;
(U)lift up a signal over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed
to the end of the earth:
(V)Say to the daughter of Zion,
(W)“Behold, your salvation comes;
behold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.”
12 (X)And they shall be called The Holy People,
The Redeemed of the Lord;
(Y)and you shall be called Sought Out,
A City Not Forsaken.

62 Por amor de Sión no callaré,
no descansaré por Jerusalén,
hasta que irradie su justicia como luz
y arda como antorcha su salvación.
2 Verán las naciones tu prosperidad,
los reyes contemplarán tu grandeza,
y te pondrán un nombre nuevo,
designado por la boca del Señor.
3 Serás corona de honor en mano del Señor
y diadema real en la palma de tu Dios.
4 Ya no te llamarán “Abandonada”,
ni dirán a tu tierra “Desolada”,
pues te llamarán “Querida mía”,
dirán a tu tierra “Desposada”;
pues el Señor te quiere a ti
y tu tierra tendrá ya marido.
5 Como un joven se casa con su novia,
así te desposa quien te construyó;
la alegría del novio por su novia
es la alegría de tu Dios por ti.
6 Sobre tus muros, Jerusalén,
he apostado centinelas;
ni de día ni de noche
permanecen en silencio.
Los que se lo recuerdan al Señor,
no se tomen descanso alguno;
7 no den descanso al Señor
hasta que la consolide,
hasta que haga de Jerusalén
tema de alabanza en la tierra.
8 Lo ha jurado el Señor solemnemente,
levantando su brazo poderoso:
no daré otra vez tu trigo
para que lo coman tus enemigos;
no beberán extranjeros tu mosto,
que tantos trabajos te costó.
9 Lo comerán los cosechadores
y alabarán al Señor;
lo beberán los vendimiadores
en mis santos atrios.
10 Pasen, pasen por las puertas,
señalen al pueblo el camino;
allanen, allanen la calzada,
déjenla bien despedregada;
icen una enseña a los pueblos.
11 El Señor proclama un mensaje
hasta el confín de la tierra:
Digan a la ciudad de Sión:
“ya está aquí tu Salvador;
con él llega su recompensa,
viene precedido de su premio”.
12 Los llamarán “Pueblo del Santo”,
les dirán “Rescatados del Señor”,
y a ti te llamarán “Anhelada”,
te dirán “Ciudad no abandonada”.

62 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
