Zion’s Glory and New Name
62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her (A)righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her (B)salvation like a torch that is burning.
2 The (C)nations will see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory;
And you will be called by a new (D)name
Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.
3 You will also be a (E)crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
And a royal headband in the hand of your God.
4 It will no longer be said to you, “[a](F)Forsaken,”
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “[b]Desolate”;
But you will be called, “[c]My delight is in her,”
And your land, “[d](G)Married”;
For the (H)Lord delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.
5 For as a young man marries a virgin,
So your sons will marry you;
And as the [e]groom rejoices over the bride,
So your (I)God will rejoice over you.
6 On your walls, Jerusalem, I have appointed (J)watchmen;
All day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who (K)profess the Lord, take no rest for yourselves;
7 And (L)give Him no rest until He establishes
And makes (M)Jerusalem an object of praise on the earth.
8 (N)The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His mighty arm:
“I will (O)never again give your grain as food for your enemies,
Nor will [f]foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.”
9 But those who (P)harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord;
And those who gather it will drink it in the courtyards of My sanctuary.
10 Go through, (Q)go through the gates,
Clear a way [g]for the people!
(R)Build up, build up the (S)highway,
Remove the stones, lift up a (T)flag over the peoples.
11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the (U)end of the earth:
(V)Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your (W)salvation is coming;
(X)Behold His reward is with Him, and His compensation before Him.”
12 And they will call them, “(Y)The holy people,
The (Z)redeemed of the Lord”;
And you will be called, “Sought Out, A City (AA)Not Abandoned.”

62 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

62 Por causa de Sion no permaneceré en silencio,
por causa de Jerusalén no me callaré;
hasta que brille su victoria como el amanecer,
y su salvación como una antorcha encendida.
2 Entonces las naciones verán tu victoria
y todos los reyes tu gloria.
Te llamarán con un nombre nuevo
que el SEÑOR mismo te dará.
3 Será una corona hermosa en la mano del SEÑOR;
una corona real en la mano de tu Dios.
4 Ya no te llamará más «Abandonada»,
y tampoco a tu tierra «Destruida».
Porque tu nombre será «Mi preferida»,
y el de tu tierra «Esposa mía».
El SEÑOR se complace en ti,
y tu tierra se casará con él.
5 Como un joven que se casa con una muchacha,
así el que te reconstruye se casará contigo.
Como un novio que se complace con su esposa,
así Dios disfrutará contigo.
6 He puesto guardia sobre tus murallas, Jerusalén.
Nunca permanecerán callados,
todo el día y toda la noche.
No se den descanso,
ustedes que se dedican pedirle al SEÑOR
que no se olvide de sus promesas.
7 No dejes descansar tampoco a Dios
hasta que él restaure a Jerusalén
y la convierta en una ciudad que todo el mundo alabará.
8 El SEÑOR ha prometido con su mano derecha y fuerte brazo[a]:
«No daré otra vez tu trigo como alimento para tus enemigos.
Los extranjeros no se tomarán
el vino nuevo por el que has trabajado duro.
9 Sino que los que cosechen el trigo
lo comerán y alabarán al SEÑOR.
Los que trabajen el vino
lo beberán en mis patios santos».
10 Vayan, vayan a las puertas,
preparen la vía para el pueblo.
Construyan, construyan el camino,
retiren las piedras;
levanten la señal para las naciones.
11 Miren, el SEÑOR anunció a todos los confines de la tierra:
«Díganle a la hija de Sion[b] que viene su Salvador.
Miren, él trae la recompensa que te va a dar
y también el salario que te va a pagar».
12 Ellos se llamarán «Pueblo Santo»,
«Salvados por el SEÑOR».
Y tú te llamarás «La ciudad deseada por Dios»,
«La que no está abandonada».

62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,(A)
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her vindication(B) shines out like the dawn,(C)
her salvation(D) like a blazing torch.
2 The nations(E) will see your vindication,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name(F)
that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
3 You will be a crown(G) of splendor in the Lord’s hand,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted,(H)
or name your land Desolate.(I)
But you will be called Hephzibah,[a](J)
and your land Beulah[b];
for the Lord will take delight(K) in you,
and your land will be married.(L)
5 As a young man marries a young woman,
so will your Builder marry you;
as a bridegroom(M) rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice(N) over you.
6 I have posted watchmen(O) on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord,
give yourselves no rest,(P)
7 and give him no rest(Q) till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise(R) of the earth.
8 The Lord has sworn(S) by his right hand
and by his mighty arm:

Remove the stones.
Raise a banner(Z) for the nations.
11 The Lord has made proclamation
to the ends of the earth:(AA)
“Say to Daughter Zion,(AB)
‘See, your Savior comes!(AC)
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.’”(AD)
12 They will be called(AE) the Holy People,(AF)
the Redeemed(AG) of the Lord;
and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted.(AH)
