Isaiah 61:5-9

5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks;
foreigners shall till your land and dress your vines,(A)
6 but you shall be called priests of the Lord;
you shall be named ministers of our God;
you shall enjoy the wealth of the nations,
and in their riches you shall glory.(B)
7 Because their[a] shame was double
and dishonor was proclaimed as their lot,
therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion;
everlasting joy shall be theirs.(C)
8 For I, the Lord, love justice,
I hate robbery and wrongdoing;[b]
I will faithfully give them their recompense,
and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.(D)
9 Their descendants shall be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples;
all who see them shall acknowledge
that they are a people whom the Lord has blessed.(E)

6 But as for you, you will be called priests of the Lord,
and[a] you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of the nations,
and you will boast about their riches.
7 Instead of your shame you will receive double,
and instead of disgrace people will shout with joy over your[b] inheritance;
therefore you[c] will inherit a double portion in their land;
everlasting joy will be yours.”[d]
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice,
and[e] I hate robbery and iniquity;
I will faithfully present your reward[f]
and make an everlasting covenant with you.[g]
9 Your[h] offspring will be known among the nations,
and your[i] descendants among the people.[j]
All who see them will acknowledge them,
that they are an offspring the Lord has blessed.”
