The Gentiles Bless Zion

60 Arise, ^(A)shine;
For your light has come!
And ^(B)the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
²For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
³The ^(C)Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Haggai 2:3-9

³^(A)‘Who is left among you who saw this ^[a]temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? In comparison with it, ^(B)is this not in your eyes as nothing? ⁴Yet now ^(C)be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts. ⁵^(D)‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so ^(E)My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’

⁶“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ^(F)‘Once more (it is a little while) ^(G)I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; ⁷and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to ^(H)the ^[b]Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this ^[c]temple with ^(I)glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ⁸‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ⁹^(J)‘The glory of this latter ^[d]temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give ^(K)peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
