² The seraphim stood above him. Each had six wings:^[a] with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he was flying.

¹⁶ With a shout of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will come down from heaven, and the dead who belong to the Messiah^[a] will rise first.

²² who has gone to heaven and is at the right hand of God, where angels, authorities, and powers have been made subject to him.

⁹ Even the archangel Michael, when he argued with the Devil and fought over the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him. Instead, he said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”^[a]

The Vision of War in Heaven

⁷ Then a war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels fought back.
