Isaiah 5:15-17
Christian Standard Bible
15 Humanity is brought low, each person is humbled,
and haughty eyes are humbled.(A)
16 But the Lord of Armies is exalted by his justice,(B)
and the holy God(C) demonstrates his holiness through his righteousness.(D)
17 Lambs will graze
as if in[a] their own pastures,(E)
and resident aliens[b] will eat
among the ruins of the rich.

15 So the common people will be humbled and the person of importance brought low,
(A)The eyes of the haughty also will be brought low.
16 But the (B)Lord of armies will be (C)exalted in judgment,
And the holy God will show Himself (D)holy in righteousness.
17 (E)Then the lambs will graze as in their pasture,
And strangers will eat in the ruins of the [a]wealthy.
