Isaiah 5:11-14
New King James Version
11 (A)Woe to those who rise early in the morning,
That they may [a]follow intoxicating drink;
Who continue until night, till wine inflames them!
12 (B)The harp and the strings,
The tambourine and flute,
And wine are in their feasts;
But (C)they do not regard the work of the Lord,
Nor consider the operation of His hands.
13 (D)Therefore my people have gone into captivity,
Because they have no (E)knowledge;
Their honorable men are famished,
And their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself
And opened its mouth beyond measure;
Their glory and their multitude and their pomp,
And he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.

Isaiah 5:11-14
American Standard Version
11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that tarry late into the night, till wine inflame them! 12 And the harp and the lute, the tabret and the pipe, and wine, are in their feasts; but they regard not the work of Jehovah, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and [a]their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst. 14 Therefore Sheol hath enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their [b]pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend into it.
