Isaiah 53:4-6
Legacy Standard Bible
4 Surely our [a]griefs He Himself [b](A)bore,
And our [c]sorrows He [d]carried;
Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
[e]Smitten of (B)God, and afflicted.
5 But He was [f]pierced through for (C)our transgressions,
He was crushed for (D)our iniquities;
The (E)chastening for our peace fell upon Him,
And by (F)His [g]wounds we are healed.
6 All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But Yahweh has caused the iniquity of us all
To [h]fall on Him.

Isaiah 53:4-6
Lexham English Bible
4 However, he was the one who lifted up our sicknesses,
and he carried our pain,
yet[a] we ourselves assumed him stricken,
struck down by God and afflicted.
5 But[b] he was pierced[c] because of our transgressions,
crushed because of our iniquities;
the chastisement for[d] our peace[e] was upon him,
and by his wounds[f] we were healed.[g]
6 All of us have wandered about like sheep;
we each have turned to his own way;
and Yahweh let fall on him
the iniquity of us all.
