Isaiah 53:8-10
Legacy Standard Bible
8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away;
And as for His generation, who considered
That He was cut off out of the land of [a]the living,
(A)That for the transgression of my people, striking was due to Him?
9 So His grave was assigned with wicked men,
Yet He was with a (B)rich man in His death,
(C)Because He had (D)done no violence,
Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
10 But [b]Yahweh was pleased
To (E)crush Him, [c](F)putting Him to grief;
If You would place His soul as a guilt (G)offering,
He will see (H)His seed,
He will prolong His days,
And the [d]good (I)pleasure of Yahweh will succeed in His hand.
