⁵ But He was ^(A)wounded^[a] for our transgressions,
He was ^[b]bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His ^(B)stripes^[c] we are healed.
⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord ^[d]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

⁸ He was ^(A)taken from ^[a]prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For ^(B)He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

^12 (A)Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
^(B)And He shall divide the ^[a]spoil with the strong,
Because He ^(C)poured out His soul unto death,
And He was ^(D)numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And ^(E)made intercession for the transgressors.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between ^(A)your seed and ^(B)her Seed;
^(C)He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
