Isaiah 53:3-6

New King James Version

³^(A)He is despised and ^[a]rejected by men,
A Man of ^[b]sorrows and ^(B)acquainted with ^[c]grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and ^(C)we did not esteem Him.

⁴Surely ^(D)He has borne our ^[d]griefs
And carried our ^[e]sorrows;
Yet we ^[f]esteemed Him stricken,
^[g]Smitten by God, and afflicted.
⁵But He was ^(E)wounded^[h] for our transgressions,
He was ^[i]bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His ^(F)stripes^[j] we are healed.
⁶All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord ^[k]has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Hebrews 10:14-18

¹⁴For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being ^[a]sanctified.

¹⁵But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,

¹⁶^(A)“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” ¹⁷then He adds, ^(B)“Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” ¹⁸Now where there is ^[b]remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

²⁴For ^(A)I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. ²⁵^(B)Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you ^(C)from all your filthiness and from all your idols. ²⁶I will give you a ^(D)new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷I will put My ^(E)Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. ²⁸^(F)Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; ^(G)you shall be My people, and I will be your God. ²⁹I will ^(H)deliver you from all your uncleannesses. ^(I)I will call for the grain and multiply it, and ^(J)bring no famine upon you. ³⁰^(K)And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.
