52 Despierta, despierta^(A),
Vístete de tu poder, oh Sión.
Vístete de tus ropajes hermosos^(B),
Oh Jerusalén, ciudad santa^(C).
Porque el incircunciso y el inmundo^(D)
No volverán a entrar en ti.
²Sal^[a] del polvo^(E), levántate^(F),
Cautiva Jerusalén.
Líbrate de las cadenas de tu cuello,
Cautiva hija de Sión^(G).

³Porque así dice el Señor: «De balde fueron ustedes vendidos^(H) y sin dinero serán redimidos^(I)». ⁴Porque así dice el Señor Dios^[b]: «Mi pueblo descendió a Egipto al principio para residir allí^(J); después los asirios los oprimieron sin motivo. ⁵Y ahora, ¿qué hago Yo aquí», declara el Señor, «viendo que se llevan a Mi pueblo sin causa?». También declara el Señor: «Sus dominadores dan gritos, y sin cesar Mi nombre es blasfemado todo el día^(K). ⁶Por tanto, Mi pueblo conocerá Mi nombre^(L). Así que en aquel día comprenderán que Yo soy el que dice: “Aquí estoy”».

⁷¶¡Qué hermosos son sobre los montes
Los pies del que trae buenas nuevas,
Del que anuncia la paz^[c]^(M),
Del que trae las buenas nuevas de gozo^[d],
Del que anuncia la salvación,
Y dice a Sión: «Tu Dios reina^(N)»!
⁸¡Una voz! Tus centinelas alzan la voz^(O),
A una gritan de júbilo
Porque verán con sus propios ojos^[e]
Cuando el Señor restaure a Sión.
⁹Prorrumpan a una en gritos de júbilo^(P),
Lugares desolados de Jerusalén^(Q),
Porque el Señor ha consolado a Su pueblo,
Ha redimido^(R) a Jerusalén.
¹⁰El Señor ha desnudado Su santo brazo
A la vista de todas las naciones^(S),
Y todos los confines de la tierra verán
La salvación de nuestro Dios^(T).
¹¹¶Apártense, apártense, salgan de allí^(U),
Nada inmundo toquen^(V).
Salgan de en medio de ella, purifíquense^(W),
Ustedes que llevan las vasijas del Señor.
¹²Pues no saldrán precipitadamente^(X),
Ni irán como fugitivos^[f].
Porque delante de ustedes irá el Señor^(Y),
Y su retaguardia será el Dios de Israel^(Z).

Sufrimiento y gloria del Siervo del Señor

¹³¶Oigan esto: Mi Siervo prosperará^(AA),
Será enaltecido, levantado y en gran manera exaltado^(AB).
¹⁴De la manera que muchos se asombraron de ti, pueblo Mío,
Así fue desfigurada Su apariencia más que la de cualquier hombre,
Y Su aspecto más que el de los hijos de los hombres^(AC).
¹⁵Ciertamente Él asombrará^[g]^(AD) a muchas naciones,
Los reyes cerrarán la boca^(AE) ante Él.
Porque lo que no les habían contado verán,
Y lo que no habían oído entenderán^(AF).

New International Version

52 Awake, awake,^(A) Zion,
    clothe yourself with strength!^(B)
Put on your garments of splendor,^(C)
    Jerusalem, the holy city.^(D)
The uncircumcised^(E) and defiled^(F)
    will not enter you again.^(G)
²Shake off your dust;^(H)
    rise up,^(I) sit enthroned, Jerusalem.
Free yourself from the chains on your neck,^(J)
    Daughter Zion,^(K) now a captive.

³For this is what the Lord says:

“You were sold for nothing,^(L)
and without money^(M) you will be redeemed.^(N)”

⁴For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“At first my people went down to Egypt^(O) to live;
lately, Assyria^(P) has oppressed them.

⁵“And now what do I have here?” declares the Lord.

“For my people have been taken away for nothing,
    and those who rule them mock,^[a]”
declares the Lord.
“And all day long
    my name is constantly blasphemed.^(Q)
⁶Therefore my people will know^(R) my name;^(S)
    therefore in that day^(T) they will know
that it is I who foretold^(U) it.
    Yes, it is I.”

⁷How beautiful on the mountains^(V)
    are the feet of those who bring good news,^(W)
who proclaim peace,^(X)
    who bring good tidings,
    who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
    “Your God reigns!”^(Y)
⁸Listen! Your watchmen^(Z) lift up their voices;^(AA)
    together they shout for joy.^(AB)
When the Lord returns^(AC) to Zion,^(AD)
    they will see it with their own eyes.
⁹Burst into songs of joy^(AE) together,
    you ruins^(AF) of Jerusalem,
for the Lord has comforted^(AG) his people,
    he has redeemed Jerusalem.^(AH)
¹⁰The Lord will lay bare his holy arm^(AI)
    in the sight of all the nations,^(AJ)
and all the ends of the earth^(AK) will see
    the salvation^(AL) of our God.

¹¹Depart,^(AM) depart, go out from there!
    Touch no unclean thing!^(AN)
Come out from it and be pure,^(AO)
    you who carry the articles^(AP) of the Lord’s house.
¹²But you will not leave in haste^(AQ)
    or go in flight;
for the Lord will go before you,^(AR)
    the God of Israel will be your rear guard.^(AS)

The Suffering and Glory of the Servant

¹³See, my servant^(AT) will act wisely^[b];
    he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.^(AU)
¹⁴Just as there were many who were appalled^(AV) at him^[c]—
    his appearance was so disfigured^(AW) beyond that of any human being
    and his form marred beyond human likeness^(AX)—
¹⁵so he will sprinkle^(AY) many nations,^[d]
    and kings^(AZ) will shut their mouths^(BA) because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
    and what they have not heard, they will understand.^(BB)
