Isaiah 51:4-8

⁴“^(A)Pay attention to Me, My people,
And listen to Me, My ^[a]nation;
For a ^(B)law will go out from Me,
And I will bring My ^(C)justice as a ^(D)light of the peoples.
⁵My ^(E)righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth,
And My ^(F)arms will judge the peoples;
The ^(G)coastlands will wait for Me,
And they will wait expectantly for My ^(H)arm.
⁶^(I)Raise your eyes to the sky,
Then look to the earth beneath;
For the ^(J)sky will vanish like smoke,
And the ^(K)earth will wear out like a garment
And its inhabitants will die ^[b]in the same way.
But My ^(L)salvation will be forever,
And My righteousness will not fail.
⁷^(M)Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,
A people in whose ^(N)heart is My Law;
Do not fear the ^(O)taunting of ^[c]people,
Nor be terrified of their abuses.
⁸For the ^(P)moth will eat them like a garment;
Yes, the ^(Q)moth will eat them like wool.
But My ^(R)righteousness will be forever,
And My salvation to all generations.”

My salvation has gone forth,

And ^(F)on My arm they will trust.
⁶^(G)Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
And look on the earth beneath.
For ^(H)the heavens will vanish away like smoke,
^(I)The earth will grow old like a garment,
And those who dwell in it will die in like manner;
But My salvation will be ^(J)forever,
And My righteousness will not be ^[a]abolished.

⁷“Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,
You people ^(K)in whose heart is My law:
^(L)Do not fear the reproach of men,
Nor be afraid of their insults.
⁸For ^(M)the moth will eat them up like a garment,
And the worm will eat them like wool;
But My righteousness will be forever,
And My salvation from generation to generation.”
